Iran to Host Biggest Int’l Mines and Mining Industries Events

Speaking to Iranian and foreigner mass media, Mehdi Karbasian mentioned that 284 domestic companies will also take part in the summit and more than 200 mineral ready for investment projects will be presented during this significant event, Tehran-based English newspaper Iran Daily reported.
Karbasian, who also heads the board of Iranian Mines and Mining Industries Development and Renovation Organization (IMIDRO), added that the several companies from 27 countries including Germany, Sweden, Finland, China, India, Japan and Canada, will participate in this summit.
The official said the number of registered participants of the summit, reached 821 persons on Tuesday, including 73 senior managers of reputable international companies.
Iran Is among the 15 major mineral-rich countries of the world and exports its industrial and mineral products to 159 countries, including Iraq, China, the United Arab Emirates, India and Afghanistan.
The country ranks first in the Middle East in mineral reserves.
